Wallace Road is on a mission to empty it's fridge. We're half way through with the freezer... and there's probably some bits and pieces that need eating in the refrigerator. It's just two weeks until Easter break, then I'm off to Rome for a few days and then we'll be back in London for my birthday.
Fol's trying to get tickets for us to see Avenue Q, it's this puppet show that I've been wanting to see. My favourite quote comes from the soundtrack, so it'll be interesting to see how it's actually sung.

With Syer and Fol.
I got over my paranoia the other day, I was just worried about my other half because I couldn't find him throughout the day. I was in a foul mood anyway, so it didn't help that
Fol went MIA. Last week was a busy week for me with three course works due in, this week is no different. I've got a Company Law essay due in this Friday and I just completed my Statistical Modelling coursework that's due in on Thursday. I'm still reading the last few topics of my law book before I can tackle the essay, but it's okay. I've got most of Tuesday to do it and up to Friday to finish it up.
I had lunch with
Souri on Wednesday last week (after convincing
Qian to skip class with us), we talked about how we hadn't gone out together for a while. It feels great seeing her and talking to her, she's one of the few people I feel very comfortable talking to about silly things I've done. We talked about boyfriend(s), friends and what we've been up to lately. I see her about once a week, and we make time to sit and chat. The other week after we had lunch (I think it was on a Friday), I went with her and sat in her Algebra lecture. I couldn't understand a word her lecturer was saying but I did manage to remember a few things from what I learnt last year and taught
Souri how to do some of her problem sheet questions. There was a minute in the class where everyone was just whispering to one another and it got pretty loud, a girl screamed out, "SHUT UP". The lecturer looked confused and she was like, "Oh, not you. I'm just telling everyone else to shut up because I can't hear you". I sort of wish I had the nerve to do that.. but my course mates aren't so bad. Most of the time they respect the lecturer and keep their voices down if they have to whisper.

Souri kept talking about a restaurant she discovered in Leicester and I pointed out that we hadn't gone out together in a while.. so we decided to go out on Friday night, inviting
Mus,
Eka,
Max,
Qian, etctra with us, to Terra Cotta in Leicester. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing.. I made
Souri ask if the restaurant served halal meat and if not, serve a large amount of vegetarian and fish dishes..which they did :-)
Qian bailed out at the last minute.. so
Mus,
Fol and I drove down to Leicester and met
Souri and boyfriend, Marcus along with
Dylan and
Tim (?). It was a good buffet and we ended up at a pub for about half an hour before walking back to our cars.
I can't really recall what I did on Saturday. I remember going to the union and showing up for the Chair training.. it was interesting but nothing new, nothing I didn't really know about. The good side was that I made new acquaintances.. other than that, I think I spent most of the day at home.
Sunday was a nice day, we made a spontaneous decision to have lunch in Leicester's Flame. We parked at the Shires, had a great lunch and at the end of the day, my leg was killing me. When we got back, I was talking about how the garden needed to be mowed in time for the BBQ this weekend..and
Mus said that he'd do it now. I helped rake up the grass.. but I've got this weird kink in my system that actually enjoys doing garden work. I used to help my dad out whenever he mowed the lawn but he never ever ever let me use the lawn mower.

If only daddy could see me now!!! I mowed 1/3rd of the garden! The pain carried on up to the morning, I shouldn't have walked that much yesterday. I ended up taking painkillers to ease the pain. I'm thankful
Pritpal is nice enough to pick me up every morning to get to uni and back, I just hope I'll heal enough to be able to play in the Nottingham Games, I'd probably cry if I couldn't. That would be a major upset for me.
So to summarize:
This week's work: Statistical Modelling (Thursday due) & Company Law (Friday due)
Next week's work: Differential Equations (Friday due) & Sequences and Series Class test (Friday!)
