The LufBru Rampage Tour to Warwick (Coventry) began at 8am, where we waited for one more person to show up to make our numbers a hefty 40. We discovered that it took just 45 minutes to get ourselves to Warwick Uni, when we initially thought we'd arrive in over 90 minutes (and we were late leaving Loughborough anyway so yippeee! for arriving on a better time!)

I've got a lot of photos I've uploaded today. You can look at all the ones I've compiled from everyone else's cameras on my flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/unangelic. I didn't bring my camera with me on the day because I've lost my charger somewhere in my room and the batteries have died.

That's me in all black, coaching the girls through the game. I think the girls did well over all :-) It's good to expose them to people they're not familiar with, that way they learn quicker of what's right and wrong in the choices they make while playing. It also gave me the oppourtunity of pointing out their basic and usual mistakes, of which I think they took in very well.

As everyone might know, my usual position in netball is a shooter/attacker. I don't like defense, it's just one of those things I don't enjoy. One of the things the LufBru netball team lacks is defence but yesterday was pulled off very well by the girls who've never played those positions :-) They woke up and realised they had to do something or else they'll allow the other team to score. In the photo below, I'm a center (and I played center for 2 games out of 3). LufBru has a lot of shooters this time around, and I guess maybe it's time to hang my shooting shoes up. At the end of it all, the Bruneians somehow gathered underneath a yellow leaf tree.. and massive cam whoring was done :-)

I'd like to thank BruWick for their never ending hospitality and friendliness :-) Thank you for hosting LufBru and introuducing us to your city of Coventry. We had a great time and I hope that this will turn out to be an annual event amongst both.

love,
yasmin.
